Process route
Cleaning and milling → slurry preparation → liquefaction and saccharification → fermentation → distillation → product finishing

Engineering priorities
Corn preparation must consider starch content, moisture, particle size and storage quality. Slurry solids and enzyme conditions influence viscosity, conversion and downstream pumping. The overall balance links ethanol output to stillage separation, thin-stillage evaporation and wet or dried feed co-products.

Information for preliminary design
Send a representative feedstock analysis, daily and seasonal availability, storage conditions, target product and net production capacity. Include steam pressure, cooling-water temperature, electricity supply, water quality and the planned outlet for residual streams. Multi-feedstock operation requires a defined operating envelope and changeover strategy.
