Process route
Root cleaning or chip milling → starch conversion → fermentation → distillation → dehydration or food-grade refining

Engineering priorities
Fresh cassava and dried chips need different receiving, storage and water balances. Soil and sand removal protect downstream equipment, while fiber handling and mash viscosity affect heat transfer. Cassava stillage must be evaluated on its own composition; it must not be assigned the protein value of grain DDGS.

Information for preliminary design
Send a representative feedstock analysis, daily and seasonal availability, storage conditions, target product and net production capacity. Include steam pressure, cooling-water temperature, electricity supply, water quality and the planned outlet for residual streams. Multi-feedstock operation requires a defined operating envelope and changeover strategy.
