How the system works
Conditioned ethanol vapor enters a molecular-sieve bed, where water is selectively adsorbed. A second bed regenerates under controlled conditions; automatic valve sequencing alternates the duties. Dehydrated vapor is condensed and cooled. Regeneration streams are integrated with the alcohol recovery system to reduce product losses.

Integrate the feed, regeneration and controls
Sizing depends on feed concentration, vapor condition, product water limit, cycle strategy and recovery integration. Liquid carryover and unsuitable contaminants must be controlled to protect the adsorbent. Instrumentation and interlocks coordinate pressure, temperature, switching and off-spec diversion. Final materials, hazardous-area requirements and relief design are defined during engineering.
