Define both sides of the exchanger

The design basis includes each stream’s composition, flow, temperature and pressure, together with the required heat duty and available utility conditions. The project team also considers fouling, cleaning access, corrosion and mechanical constraints. These inputs connect heat recovery decisions to the equipment specification.

02 / CNE

From workshop to heat balance

We manufacture a multitube heat exchanger under fabrication. For a new or modified distillery, exchanger duty is assessed together with the columns, condensate return and cooling-water system. A heat-recovery change should be evaluated across the operating range and documented in the overall mass and energy balance.
